Computertechnology

All the music has been done on the computer, on and off with an electric piano or synth. Sometimes I use the pianoroll, other times other people's samples. I am an fan of Reason  and most of the CD, The Angels were done with Reason the electric synth and a piano roll. Some similar melodies for the first CD project are found in the CD, Chillhouse as well. The Chillhouse on it's own is a simple fast made techno music with ejay samples, mostly. Where the rockmelodies with the strong drum tracks are done in Reason and either directly played in and distorted or freshly written. And they are found in Don't Join Mirical, Hamburg, Destruction, The Dark Valleys and TimeAnd then all the other instrument's one can hear are written fittingly to the drum tracks and so I was able to do very fast a lot of tracks and this explains why I can sell so many CD's, even so many are still without songs.

To sing to industrial drum tracks is quite a thing and I need  a lot of ideas. It is very difficult and the CD, Don't Join Mirical is good, but is strongly directed towards opera. The drums are very fast and I need time to get the hang of it and then I don't often like my voice and start to record several trials, find out what I can do with them and then sample them. Repeat them or cut them in bits and peaces, till  I can't hear anymore what I have been singing. The first song from Don't Join Mirical,  was done like this and changed the whole lyrics, but it turned out to be brilliant and I thought this is the way I will coninue. And it got into the charts in soundclick. Between 25 to 50 on a daily basis ands from 600 songs.

The songs are often sung in opera and in diverse tones, in order to find out how to make them fit to the tracks and to find out WHAT I CAN DO WITH THEM. In order to train my voice, I copy some musicals, operettes and as well pop songs. I allways say that I go into a piano room and build my voice, like an instrument, but I do this just sometimes. The technique I learned singing on, was classical Italien, with an employd opera singer. These days I am looking for singers to prepare for shows and video recordings and they need to be able to sing opera as well.

In the moment I do work on the songs and do them alone and for simple warm up, I sing Lloyd Webbers, THINK OF ME,  and PRIMA DONNA, from Phantom of the Opera.  The first Act from Dido and Aneas is another one, and is so pretty. I try Celine Dion's songs, but have difficulties with it. I find that all singers with big names, use their own individual technique to stage or craft a melody. Something which is difficult to copy, but makes their songs and way of singing very spechial and outstanding. In order to then put a proper melody on a track, to sing a melody, I try to understand what other rock singers and pop singers have done and find that with PAVLOV'S DOG  songs, they are mish mash of melodies. Something which is difficult to memories, but his idea is something I use for my music, but is more the instrumental side which I have taken up and is heard in  the  CD, most of the CD's.
